AGC BIMForum Fall 2009 Meeting

The Philadelpha BIMForum Meeting will be held October 8-9 at the Phildelphia Marriott Downtown, 1202 Market Street, Philadelpha, PA 19107.  The theme of this meeting is “BIM AS THE EVOLVING STANDARD OF CARE: Driving process transformation for designers, contractors, and owners. This meeting will focus on such pressing questions as:

  • Is BIM driving a change in the standard of care?
  • Who should deliver a building model that provides true value to owners for building operations and management?
  • How will the use of BIM impact project contingencies?  What will be accepted as appropriate contingency items, and what wil be expected from a “guaranteed” maximum price?

AGC’s BIMForum “is considered the best place for collaboration and collective action to relieve the aches and achieve the potential gains of the paradigm shift to BIM-enabled design and construction.” Engineering News Record, Nov. 2008
